Russell and I (Julie) have always enjoyed drawing and painting. Russell will often draw something and I finish it by painting it. With what has happen to our son Manie www.bigpharmavictim.blogspot.com we have recently picked up drawing and painting again. It has just kind of be a way I think for both of us to express through art what we can not express through words.

By RMc and Julie HEART of GOLD The Heart of a Hero

I don't think that this was intended to be a drawing of Manie's heart. However the more I painted it the more it felt like it was. Russell did the drawing and I finished with the painting.
